Traffic Stop Uncovers 12 Pounds Of Marijuana: PA State Police Gettysburg A Camp Hill man was arrested after allegedly being caught trafficking 12 pounds of marijuana in Adams County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Nov. 16. Christopher Arnett, 42, was stopped by troopers in a 2024 Chrysler speeding through Tyrone Township late Thursday night, police said in a release. During the traffic stop, officers reportedly discovered Arnett was in possession of 12 pounds of marijuana and intended to distribute it. Arnett has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding, according to state police. …

96-Year-Old Killed In Adams County Crash: State Police A 96-year-old passenger died after two cars collided in Tyrone Township on Thursday night, July 4, authorities said in a release.  The crash happened on Route 234/East Berlin Road near Route 15 around 11:30 p.m., according to state police An eastbound Nissan Rogue was turning left onto the Route 15 onramp when it collided with a westbound Subaru Outback, crash investigators wrote.  Fuji A. Pedestrian Struck In South Central PA (Developing) Someone was struck by a vehicle in South Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon, authorities say. The pedestrian or bicyclist was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Heidlersburg and Old Harrisburg roads in Tyrone Township just before 2 p.m. on Nov. 8, according to Adams County Emergency dispatchers.  Multiple EMS, and fire companies from Biglerville, York Springs, Heidlersburg, and Gettysburg, as well as state police have responded to the incident.  Details are limited at this time as this is a developing story, so check back here for updates.

Man Killed In Chicken House Collapse ID'd By Coroner, Osha Investigating A man suffocated to death and seven others were hurt when a building collapsed in Adams County on Friday, July 29, authorities say. Jose Rojas Flores, 53, of Harrisburg, died of accidental traumatic asphyxia at the scene of the chicken house collapse at Hillandale Farms in the 300 block of Spicer Road, Tyrone Township that happened just before 7:30 a.m., according to Adams County coroner Pat Felix and Pennsylvania state police.  The chicken house on the property was scheduled to be demolished when it collapsed suddenly, police say.
