SUV Flips On Road In Mahopac (Photos) A crash in Putnam County left a vehicle on its side and temporarily blocked a lane of traffic on a curvy road.  The crash happened at around 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, when an SUV flipped in the area of Miller Road and Route 118 in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. The incident prompted a fast response from Carmel Police, the Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corp., and the Somers Volunteer Fire Department in addition to Mahopac fire crews.
