Poconos Driver Killed After Losing Control On Snow-Covered Route 611: Police A Pocono Summit man died in a crash involving a box truck on a snow-covered Route 611, police announced Friday, Nov. 22. Brian Rambhawan, 36, was traveling south on the slippery road when he lost control of his sedan and spun into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound box truck, according to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department. The crash happened at 3:54 a.m. in Coolbaugh Township. Man Dies Days After Utility Pole Crash In Poconos: Lehigh County Coroner A 43-year-old man has died days after a crash with a utility pole in the Poconos, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Rowland Matthews, of Dreher Township, Wayne County, struck a utility pole on Route 191 about one mile south of Pocono Plateau Road in Cresco, Monroe County, the coroner's office said.  The crash happened at 3:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to the coroner's office.  Matthews was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital. on Friday, Oct. 18, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said.
