PA Sixth Grader Dies Weeks After Swimming Incident, Mom Says Support is on the rise for the family of a Pennsylvania middle school student who died more than two weeks after an incident while swimming with friends. Emilio Tarr died on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 1:13 p.m., according to a GoFundMe campaign launched by Elaina Tarr.  He was a sixth grader at Elkins Park School in Cheltenham.  Emilio was swimming with friends on Sunday, Sept. 1 when he suffered "a tragic drowning accident," his mother previously wrote. Overnight Standoff With SWAT Team Ends In Arrest: Cheltenham Police A suspect brandished a handgun during a standoff with a SWAT team in Cheltenham, according to township police.  Authorities said they spotted the suspect's car behind the 8250 Limekiln Pike Wawa around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The vehicle was being sought in connection with a felony that took place outside of Cheltenham earlier in the day, police explained.  A woman in the car exited when police arrived, but a male suspect " refused to comply with orders," according to officials.
