Candy Gray, 49, was discovered in a burning house on Philadelphia Avenue in Shillington shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday, WFMZ reports. Authorities in Berks County have identified the 37-year-old pedestrian fatally struck by a car in Wyomissing late Wednesday night. Charles Cleaford, of Reading, was walking southbound on State Hill Road when an SUV traveling northbound hit him, WFMZ reports citing the Berks County Coroner's Office and Wyomissing police. A driver pleaded guilty Monday in a crash that killed a 22-year-old Allentown woman last year, reports say. Amanda Ritter, 30, was driving 81 mph in a 35-mph zone and was intoxicated when she struck a Chevrolet Malibu at Overlook and Mauch Chunk Roads in Allentown on Jan. 14, 2020, WFMZ reports citing the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office. A 35-year-old Staten Island man and veteran skydiver was killed in a freak accident in Pennsylvania Monday at the same facility where a New Jersey skydiver died in April. Frank Kancso's parachute opened and stayed on, but he landed hard in the landing area at Sky’s the Limit Skydiving Center in Monroe County, according to Pennsylvania State Police and WFMZ. Coroner IDs Driver Killed In Berks County Crash
The Berks County coroner's office has identified the man killed on Route 183 in Jefferson Township Monday morning, according to a recent news report. A car was traveling north on Route 183 when the driver, identified as a 31-year-old Matthew Clemens, of Florida, lost control and hit the bridge near Shartlesville Road and New Schafferstown Road just before 10:30 a.m., according to WFMZ.
