Driver Injured When Car Slams Into Garage In York County: Officials A driver was taken to the hospital after striking the side of a garage on Thursday morning, Aug. 8.  The sedan pictured struck the detached garage in the 3500 block of Shaffers Church Road in Codorus Township at 6:49 a.m., the Glen Rock Hose & Ladder Company detailed in a release.   No one was in the home but the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, York County Department of Emergency Services explained.  Community Fire Co. of Seven Valleys and York County ATR assisted at the scene which cleared in about two hours.  The …

Dairy Queen (Videos) A Jeep plowed through a car lot and slammed into a Dairy Queen in Lebanon County on Thursday morning, Aug. 8, authorities say.  The vehicle left the eastbound lanes of Cumberland Street/Route 422 when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and entered the Major Key Motors car lot — damaging several vehicles — before crashing into the side of a Dairy Queen in the 2600 block of Cumberland Street/Route 422 in North Cornwall Township around 6:21 a.m., according to Lebanon Department of Emergency Services.  No one was injured in the crash. Car Sought For Hit-Run Of Allentown Bicyclist: Authorities Allentown police are looking for the suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run on Sunday, April 14.  The pictured car struck a bicyclist around 11:30 p.m. at the corner of Tilghman and 11th streets, authorities said.  Investigators believe the car now has front-end damage.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Traffic Safety Unit at 610-437-7732.

NJ Man Killed In PA Turnpike Crash That Left Tractor-Trailer Sprawled Across Highway (Photos) A New Jersey man was killed in a violent crash involving a tractor trailer and several cars on the PA Turnpike Friday, July 29, authorities said (scroll for photos). The crash occurred on the Northeast Extension in Carbon County 5:45 p.m. near Mahoning Valley Exit #74. Photos show the tractor's cab and trailer stretched across both sides of the median. Motorist Chris Jones detailed the scene in a Facebook post.
