Lehigh County Man Struck, Killed By Train Remembered For His Love For All
The 26-year-old man struck and killed by a train in Lehigh County is being remembered for his love for everyone. Angel Luis Rivera Jr. of Alburtis died at about 9:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 after being struck by the train, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. The accident occurred near North Main Street and West Penn Avenue in Alburtis, Angel's brother, Genesis Quinones of Allentown, organized a GoFundMe. Train Strikes Tractor Trailer In Chester County, Police Say
Authorities responded to a railroad crossing in Oxford Borough on Wednesday, April 17 after a train crashed into a tractor-trailer, police said. Officials said it happened at the Mount Pleasant Road crossing around 3:30 p.m. The road was closed between South Third and Grant streets for several hours while crews cleared the scene. Man Electrocuted After Falling Onto SEPTA Tracks, Officials Say
One man has died after falling onto train tracks in Center Philadelphia and being electrocuted early Monday morning, Feb. 26, SEPTA told Daily Voice. It happened at City Hall Station on the Broad Street Line around 2:30 a.m., a spokesperson said. The victim was electrocuted after touching the third rail, according to officials. His name was not reported and the matter remains under investigation.

Workers Killed By Train On Bridge Connecting NJ, PA Identified
A pair of workers who were struck and killed by a train on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania last week have been identified by colleagues. Donato G. Fiocca, 53, and Victor R. Martins, 55, were working on the bridge when they were fatally struck in Camden around 9:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. Both men were members of the Cement Masons and Plasterers' Local 592, Fiocca for 25 years and Martins for 8.
