Truck Stolen From Stroudsburg Business, Suspects Sought: Authorities
Investigators are looking for a pickup truck that was stolen from a Stroudsburg business on Saturday night, May 18. Stroud Area Regional police said the truck was parked on North 9th Street near Main Street when four people stole it around 11 p.m. All four suspects were wearing dark clothes, masks, and blue gloves, authorities said. 8-Year-Old Boy Shot Dead In East Stroudsburg: Police
An 8-year-old boy was shot and killed earlier this month in East Stroudsburg, authorities announced. The unidentified child was shot around 5:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Mill Creek Road, on Monday, April 3, according to Lehigh Valley Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. His death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. In addition to the coroner's office, this death is being investigated by the Stroud Area Regional Police Department and the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.

Motorcyclist Killed In Poconos Area Crash: Lehigh Coroner
A 61-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash this week in the Poconos area, authorities said. Michael J. Bobitka, 61, of Rice Township, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg at 7:44 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Bobitka died of multiple blunt force injuries and his manner of death was an accident, officials said.
