Dead Man Found In Cave Along Trail: PA State Police A dead man was found in a cave along the Slate Heritage Trail in Slatington Borough, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Troopers from PSP Troop M – Bethlehem Criminal Investigation Unit were alerted to the possibility of a body in the area on Monday, Dec. 30, police said. During their investigation, they located the man in a cave along the trail, according to the release. Joby Bauer, of Slatington, was last seen on the 1300 block of West Court Street in Allentown, borough police said on Friday, Aug. 19. He stands six feet and one-inch tall weighing 160 pounds and is known to frequent the Lehigh Parkway.
