Two men have been charged following an armed burglary and standoff with police at the Fountain Hill Pharmacy in Lehigh County on Christmas Eve, authorities announced Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Miguel Martinez, 56, of Allentown, and David Vazquez, 33, of Bethlehem, face multiple charges, including felony burglary, felony recklessly endangering another person, and several misdemeanors such as theft by unlawful taking, prohibited offensive weapon, and possessing an instrument of crime, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. A high-speed chase ended in a multi-vehicle crash that left one driver seriously injured in Lebanon early Wednesday, Dec. 11, police said.
Darius Stuckey, 28, of East Petersburg, was driving a vehicle with an equipment violation when a Lebanon City police officer attempted to pull him over around 1:47 a.m., according to a release from the department.

A fatal crash involving a garbage truck closed Route 15 in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, early Saturday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said in a release.
The crash happened at 5:03 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, along the 6800 block of US Highway 15 South, just south of McNett Road. Trooper Ryan Smith, the investigating officer, reported that the collision occurred when a garbage truck attempted a U-turn near the driveway of 6885 US Highway 15.
