Ax-Wielding Driver Rammed Car On PA Highway: Police
An Upper Merion driver was allegedly armed with a hatchet when police say he menaced another motorist on Friday night, Oct. 20. The victim called authorities around 9 p.m. and said she was being followed and rammed by a gold SUV on Route 23 near the Valley Forge Towers, police said. While officers were dispatched to locate the SUV, the victim told police the aggressor was now "armed with some sort of ax" and was "actively fighting with (her) male friend," according to UMPD. Shirtless Danelo Cavalcante Last Spotted Carrying .22 Rifle, Flashlight
The reward in the search for Danelo Cavalcante has been increased to $25,000. The 34-year-old escaped killer, who is also wanted for murder in Brazil, is armed after stealing a pistol from a Chester County home Monday, Sept. 11, authorities said. Police say he was last spotted in South Coventry Township, without a shirt, carrying a stolen .22 rifle and flashlight. Residents should call 911 immediately if he is spotted. Man Drove Recklessly Through PA Shopping Center Lot To Get Attention Of Police
A 53-year-old driver is facing several charges after driving recklessly through a busy Pennsylvania shopping center in an attempt to attract the attention of police, authorities said. John Martin Jr. apparently sped off Route 23 into the Morgantown Crossings Shopping Plaza in Berks County and drove into a retention basin, blowing out one of his tires around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17, Caernarvon Township police said.
