An active shooting shuttered three blocks of three streets in Lancaster City on Wednesday, and now two teens are in custody and a man is dead, according to police.
Jayziah Echevarria, 18, of Lancaster has been charged with "criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, firearms not to be carried without a license and recklessly endangering another person," the police announced around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.

A passenger apparently dead from serious injuries sustained in the 2021 garbage truck crash in Lebanon County and nearly two years later, police have announced the arrested of the driver.
On Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., 26-year-old Zachary Gilbert, was arrested in connection with the crash at State Drive just south of Stonehedge Drive at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, June 4, according to the South Lebanon Township Police Department.

Gunman Captured Nearly 3 Months After Upper Gwynedd Shooting: Police
A North Wales man was captured nearly three months after shooting and injuring two people in Upper Gwynedd, authorities said.
Damian Thomas, 24, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday, July 19, after police detectives and members of the US Marshals Service learned he had been staying at a house in Philadelphia, they said.
The man was driving along Sumneytown Pike when he shot two people around 10 a.m. on April 16, police said.
Thomas fled the scene, and both victims were taken to Abington Hospital for treatment, authorities said.
