Crews Respond To Dryer Fire At Phoenixville Laundromat
Firefighters were called to a small blaze at the Happy Wash Day laundromat on Bridge Street Friday morning, May 17. Officials said clothes in a dryer caught fire around 11 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find smoke in the building and smoldering laundry in one machine, Phoenixville Fire Department said. Fire Breaks Out At Suburban Philly Housing Development Site
A small fire slowed down construction at a housing development site in Chester County on Wednesday, Oct. 19, officials said on social media. The cause of a house fire and hazmat incident in Phoenixville Wednesday morning was undetermined as of Thursday afternoon, fire officials said. Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of Melvin Road near City Line Avenue in Schuylkill Township, according to the Phoenixville Fire Department.
