Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash On PA Turnpike: Officials A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed. A detour began being used on I-76 West at Exit 286 - Reading starting at 12:35 p.m. and ending just before 5:45 p.m., according to officials. 50 Years After Being Found Frozen In Pennsylvania Cave 'Pinnacle Man' Is Identified The body of a man found frozen in a Pennsylvania cave nearly 50 years ago has been identified, authorities said. The remains of Nicholas Paul Grubb, 27, of Fort Washington, Montgomery County, were discovered in January 1977 by two Appalachian Trail hikers who had ducked inside the cave to escape foul weather, according to the Berks County Coroner which announced the news last week. Grubb has long been known as the “Pinnacle Man,” named after the mountain peak near where his body was found.
