He dressed like a cop and used lights and siren to pull someone over in Chester County, but wasn't a real police officer, authorities said. The fake cop pulled over a vehicle on Route 1 near Route 896 in Upper Oxford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Avondale Station in a press statement on Friday, Sept. 13. Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash On PA Turnpike: Officials
A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed. A detour began being used on I-76 West at Exit 286 - Reading starting at 12:35 p.m. and ending just before 5:45 p.m., according to officials. PA State Police Respond To Threats Across Mulitple School Districts
Threats have prompted Pennsylvania State Police to increase their presence in schools across multiple districts, PSP Troop M PIO Nathan Branosky told Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 13. A horse was struck dead by a minivan in Salisbury Township on Thursday, Sep. 5, Pennsylvania State Police announced the following day. A 54-year-old endangered woman has been found in Chester County, authorities said. Annette Zuckerman was found safe on Thursday night, Sept. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, Avondale Station. Originally she was reported as possibly in danger, authorities said. Zuckerman was last seen at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at her home, State Police said.

PSP Investigated 580 Crashes, Wrote 24,865 Tickets Over Labor Day Weekend
Pennsylvania State Police investigated 580 crashes over the four-day Labor Day weekend. From Friday, Aug. 30 to Monday, Sept. 2, those crashes resulted in 170 injuries and six deaths. Those totals were lower than the 671 crashes last Labor Day that resulted in 220 injuries and 10 deaths. Impaired driving was a factor in 65 of this year's crashes, three of which were fatal. 50 Years After Being Found Frozen In Pennsylvania Cave 'Pinnacle Man' Is Identified
The body of a man found frozen in a Pennsylvania cave nearly 50 years ago has been identified, authorities said. The remains of Nicholas Paul Grubb, 27, of Fort Washington, Montgomery County, were discovered in January 1977 by two Appalachian Trail hikers who had ducked inside the cave to escape foul weather, according to the Berks County Coroner which announced the news last week.
