A woman who was wanted by police in Berks County has been charged with a felony, among other charges, for assaulting a police officer in Lancaster County. Dayshia Alexis Alston, 22, of Ephrata, arrested in Lancaster County on Wednesday just before 1 p.m. Northern Lancaster County Regional Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle Alston was driving in the 200 block of Owl Hill Road near the intersection of Pierson and Rudy Dam roads. A Lancaster County man died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday night, hours after his wedding. Kevin Lee Logan of Ephrata has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in Clay Township, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police. Maryland Man Arrested In Harrisburg On Felony Wire Fraud Charges
A 30-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland, has been arrested in Harrisburg on wired fraud charges, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police. Lamar Anton Martin, of Baltimore Maryland, entered medical facilities in Warwick Township and stole purses and a wallet on May 21, according to police. He then used the victims credit cards to make unauthorized purchases. Martin was arrested on an active warrant in Harrisburg in Swatara Township on June 14 and transferred to NLCPD custody. ' License Plate Caught Swiping iPhone From Lancaster Cafe Bathroom
A woman touting a gold "JESUS" plate on her minivan was caught swiping an unattended iPhone from a Penn Township cafe bathroom, authorities said. Surveillance tapes show the woman leaving the bathroom with someone else's phone -- which had accidentally been left in the Molly's Cafe bathroom on Doe Run Road around 4:20 p.m. Monday, Northern Lancaster County Regional police said.
