PA Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Deer, Family Grieves Their Loss The family of a Montgomery County motorcyclist is grieving his death after he died from injuries sustained in a crash involving a deer. Mikael Nihart, 25, of Pottstown, was riding a motorcycle west on Route 724 near Red Corner Road in Union Township, Berks County, when a deer ran out in front of him on Saturday, Nov. 2, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report. Nihart was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a guiderail, the police report states. Motorcyclist Killed In Route 1 Crash, 2nd Fatal In Same Day In South Brunswick Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said. At 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, officers were alerted to a single-car crash on Route 535.  The preliminary investigation shows a Nissan Maxima, operated by a 65-year-old man from South River, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity is being withheld until notification is made to next of kin.  The investigation is still active and anyone with information is asked…

Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Boulder In Berks County: Coroner A 58-year-old Ivyland man died from his injuries following a motorcycle crash on Sunday, April 14, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  Robert. J. Lawler was heading east on Deer Run Road in District Township when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a boulder around 3:50 p.m., said Pennsylvania State Police.  Lawler was thrown from the bike and rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he died from multiple blunt force injuries, the Coroner's Office said.  His manner of death was accidental.

Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Schuylkill County Crash A Schuykill County man is dead following a fatal collision in Frackville, authorities say.  Leonard Kristoff, 61, of Pottsville, was driving his motorcycle south on Valley Road at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, when he struck an oncoming truck that was turning left into a parking lot, state police said.  Kristoff was thrown from the bike and declared dead at the scene, authorities said.  Traffic on Valley Road was rerouted for Thursday as officials investigated the area.  The driver of the truck was cited for unsafely changing lanes, according to the police…
