Norristown firefighters responded to the scene of a water main break that shut down several streets Monday morning, Jan. 22, officials announced. 1 Driver Extricated In Multi-Car Crash At Norristown Intersection
One driver was extricated from their car following a multi-vehicle crash at a Norristown intersection Monday afternoon, authorities said. Police, fire, and rescue units responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Markley Street and West Main Street around noon, according to Norristown Fire Department. It was unclear how many cars were involved and if any other drivers received medical attention. Norristown Police Department did not immediately respond to Daily Voice's request for comment.

Man Accused Of Gunning Down Ex-Girlfriend's Brother Captured By U.S. Marshals In Philadelphia
A Lansdowne man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's brother in Norristown was captured this week in Philadelphia by members of the U.S. Marshals, after months on the run, authorities announced. Nyjeah White, 27, was taken into custody Friday in the Germantown section without incident, on charges of first- and third-degree murder, person not to possess a firearm and possessing an instrument of crime, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.
