Restaurant Stabbing Calls Police To Central PA Hospital
A stabbing at a restaurant sent police to an area hospital. Essence Fatima McGhie was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 6 in connection with a stabbing following a fight outside Villa Nova at 1310 Harrisburg Pike, the Manheim Township police detailed in a release late in the month. The 29-year-old punched someone and then pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the left hand – twice, according to the police. An 18-year-old old was walking down the street when he suddenly saw police, fled, and threw a loaded gun, authorities announced on Friday, June 9, 2023. Jaqua James Carpenter was walking westward with two other men who matched the description of suspected thieves as well as a report of a "person with a firearm" on Millersville Pike on May 18, 2023, according to Manheim Township police and court records. A man from Queens, New York is wanted by police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for setting fire to occupied apartments. Husani A. Laviscount, 33, is wanted by police in Manheim Township for burglary and arson of the apartment structure in the 600 block of Wyncroft Lane on April 25 between 8-8:44 p.m. Laviscount, entered one of the apartments and intentionally set it on fire-- a fire which then spread to a total of five other occupied structures-- all with the purpose of destroying or damaging them, according to police.
