PA Inmate Threatens To Blow Up Allentown Parole Building: Report A 65-year-old man jailed on arson offenses will be facing a new charge for threatening to blow up a parole building in Lehigh County, Fox56 reports. Timothy Koebert, an inmate at SCI Dallas in Luzerne County, threatened to bomb the Allentown parole office and put people in body bags in a series of letters, the outlet says citing Pennsylvania State Police. He also allegedly threatened to light an Allentown Walmart store on fire. Koebert, who's scheduled to be released in October, was charged with terroristic threats, according to the outlet. Man, 23, Shot Dead By US Marshal In Luzerne County A 23-year-old man was killed in a shootout with a US Marshals agent arresting him in Luzerne County Wednesday, Aug. 10, authorities said. Jordan Urenovitch, who was wanted on warrants for gun and drug charges, fired at a member of the Fugitive Task Force in Hazle Township when the deputy fired back, Pennsylvania State Police said. Deputies apparently spotted Urenovitch in a car before he bolted over to 22nd Street Auto Center and shot were fired around 12:40 p.m., according to PSP.  Urenovitch was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Luzerne County DA will handle the investigation.

Eastern PA Infant Dies After Being Found Unresponsive: Police An infant died after being found unresponsive in Luzerne County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the Hazleton Apartments on West 24th Street in Hazle Township around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 for a report of an unresponsive 3-month-old child, Pennsylvania State Police said. Cops found the child in bed with a man, who was asleep at the time, they said. The boy was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton, where he was pronounced dead. The infant's identity and cause of death were not immediately provided by authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
