Trooper Among 3 Seriously Hurt After Driver Fails To Yield On Route 283: PA State Police
Three people, including a Pennsylvania State Police trooper, were seriously injured when a Volkswagen Passat crashed into a marked police cruiser on Route 283 in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, police announced on Sunday, Jan. 26. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. near mile marker 5.9 on Route 283 East, according to a release by Pennsylvania State Police. A plane crashed in Lebanon County on Friday, July 19, according to the Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services. The crash initially was reported at Reigle Airport located at 1805 South Forge Road in Palmyra, Londonderry Township at 2:43 p.m., according to LCDES. Both the pilot and the passenger were injured, according to Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company in a release at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Maryland Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash In Pennsylvania, State Police Say
A 70-year-old Maryland man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pennsylvania during the snowstorm on Tuesday, Nov. 15, authorities say. Jeff Shook was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox along Route 96, also known as Hyndman Road, in Londonderry Township when he lost control of the vehicle, Pennsylvania state police say. A contractor has died on Three Mile Island during a “material handling accident,” accident to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
