Route 222 South Closes After Serious Crash, Lane Restrictions North (Developing) A serious crash has shut down all southbound lanes of Route 222 between the Brownstown/Rothsville and Oregon Pike exits near Leola, authorities announced Friday, Dec. 13. Northbound traffic is restricted to one lane in the same area. The southbound lanes of Route 222 were closed at 2:12 p.m., according to 511PA. Traffic is being diverted at the Brownstown exit, with the roadway expected to remain closed until at least 4:15 p.m., authorities said. PA 19-Year-Old Motorcyclist ID'd After Fatal Pickup Collision: Coroner A 19-year-old motorcyclist has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash, the Lancaster County Coroner announced on Tuesday, Oct. 15.  Brandon Michael Wenger, 19, of Stevens, was involved in a collision with a pickup truck on Route 322 in Earl Township on the evening of Oct. 8, according to the release.  Wenger was taken to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:38 p.m. on Oct. 9, according to the coroner.
