A 75-year-old woman is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, Manheim Township Police announced on Monday morning, Oct. 21. The woman was found lying on the side of the road in the 100 Block River Drive in Lancaster Township at 9:08 a.m. She was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. A Lancaster Township man is accused of fleeing the scene of the deadly crash that killed 23-year-old Anson Burkholder in Maidencreek Township last month. Moshe K. PA Man Who Murdered His Boyfriend Found Dead In Prison Cell: DOC
A confessed and convicted killer who struggled with mental health issues has died in prison, according to a release by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Matthew VanZandt, 33, originally of Allentown, was found unresponsive in his cell in SCI Houtzdale in Clearfield County on May 11, 2022, the release shows.
