A double shooting has left a 25-year-old man dead and a 1-year-old boy injured, Philadelphia police announced late on Wednesday night, Sept. 4. Police were called to the shooting in the 3200 block of D Street, in the 25th District, at 6:21 p.m., PPD detailed in the release. The man "was shot multiple times throughout his body," the police said. A garage and a home were damaged when a U-Haul truck exploded spraying someone's personal belongings in a Pennsylvania neighborhood, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 2. The explosion of the 2022 Ford F-650 U-Haul box truck happened in a driveway in Lafayette Township at 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, authorities explained. Woman ID'd After Fatal Assault By Married Couple: Dauphin County Coroner
The woman found dead following an assault at a husband and wife's apartment has been identified, by the Dauphin County Coroner on Sunday, Sept. 1. Allie McFadden, 26, of York County, was killed in Kyle and Chanise Burton's apartment in the 100 block of Pine Street at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. A husband and wife have been arrested on homicide charges after an assault left a woman dead in the couple's Harrisburg apartment on Thursday, August 29, the police announced the following morning. A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police. Pottstown Man, 60, Dies From Burns Suffered In House Fire: Coroner
A 60-year-old man from Pottstown died of burns suffered in a house fire, authorities said. John Roddenberry was pronounced dead on Sunday, Aug. 18, at about 3:20 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner. The cause of death was burns over more than 50 percent of his body, the coroner said. The fire occurred on Sunday, Aug. 18 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 15 Block of W. 3rd Street, Pottstown.
