Three Bus Passengers Dead, Dozens Hurt In Crash On I-81 In Pennsylvania
Three charter bus passengers died in a crash with a passenger car on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County Sunday night, Aug. 6, authorities said.
A Honda CRV was stopped in the right lane of the highway on the southbound side while the bus, carrying between 40 and 50 people, was negotiating a right curve near mile marker 74 in Lower Paxton,, Pennsylvania State Police said.
That's when the bus veered the north side of the highway and went onto the grassy roadside, hit and embankment, and overturned just before 11:50 p.m., PSP said in a release.

A 20-year-old woman has died in a crash between two military vehicles at Fort Indiantown Gap on Saturday, Oct. 22, the Pennsylvania National Guard told Daily Voice.
Specialist Mackenzie "Mack" L. Shay, 20 of New Castle, was killed in the crash, according to Capt. Travis Mueller.
The three other service members who were hurt were taken to Hershey Medical Center and all have since been released.
Shay was a 92F, Army Petroleum Supply Specialist, assigned to the 28th Infantry Division’s Company G, 128th Brigade Support Battalion.

Two men have died following a crash in central Pennsylvania involving a stolen white Charger Hellcat from Delaware on Sunday, September 10, Pennsylvania state police say.
Oscar Ronaldino Salvador, 26, of Virginia, Waldir Adonay Hernandez-Monge, 24, of Maryland, and Elio Alarcon-Ozoia, 28, of Maryland, had been in the speeding Hellcat when the car crashed in the 7000 block of Allentown Boulevard/US-22 around 5:20 a.m., police say.
The Hellcat went off the roadway— ejecting Salvador and Hernandez-Monge— who both died at the scene, according to the police.
