4-Alarm Fire Rips Through Philadelphia Warehouse Firefighters were working to control a multi-alarm fire that broke out at a warehouse Monday morning, April 24 in Philadelphia. The DarkRun Lane fire brought a HazMat team to the scene and had struck four alarms as of 10:45 a.m. Videos of the scene were being uploaded to the Citizen app. Plumes of smoke can be seen billowing over the city.

Four people reported feeling sick after opening their mail on the unit block of Nancy Lane in Caln Township around 7:30 p.m., local police said. The envelope turned out harmless and the residents refused to be taken to the hospital, police said. Samples were turned over to authorities for further testing.
