One person was hospitalized after an early morning fire tore through a rowhome attic in Hanover Borough on Monday, Nov. 4, officials said. The fire broke out in the first block of South Penn Street, near Stock Street. Hanover Area Fire & Rescue crews arrived to find flames pouring from the attic, dispatchers said. Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze, while Hanover police secured the scene around 2:30 a.m. One resident of the home was injured and taken to a nearby hospital in Hanover.
