Car Thief, Fraudster Extradited To PA From NJ Jail, Cops Say
An Easton woman is in the Northampton County jail for a car theft early this year, say Forks Township police. Authorities said they were called about a stolen Hyundai Santa Fe at 5335 Kesslersville Road on Feb. 29. The victim, a New Jersey resident, also reported fraudulent transactions on a debit card that was left in the vehicle. Police used surveillance footage from the businesses where the transactions occurred to identify Penny Bellomi as a suspect, authorities said. Women Wanted For Car Break-Ins, Fraud In Northampton County: Police
Two women are accused of burglarizing cars in Forks Township, police said in a release. Investigators said the pictured suspects broke into two parked cars at 3601 Sullivan Trail during the early morning hours on Wednesday, March 6. Police believe they took a purse containing credit cards and an ID, then tried to use them to cash a check at Embassy Bank in Allentown. Easton Man Charged For Repeatedly Masturbating By His Bedroom Window
A Northampton County man is accused of repeatedly exposing himself to neighbors from his window, officials say. Robert A. Fox of Easton is charged with open lewdness and indecent exposure, Forks Township police said in a release. Authorities said they were first called to the 2800 block of Falk Street on Oct. 4 for a report of a man touching himself in an upstairs window who was "clearly visible to the public." Lehigh Valley Thief Stole Over $70K From Victim's Bank Account: Police
A suspected fraudster is accused of siphoning nearly $75,000 from a Lehigh Valley resident's bank account, according to authorities. Aaron J. Pflum is charged with forgery, theft by deception, and related counts, said Forks Township police. Investigators believe 30-year-old Pflum walked into the Fidelity Bank at 1250 Braden Boulevard in September and used a phony ID to transfer $65,000 out of a victim's account. Gunman Fires Shots Into Lehigh Valley Restaurant
A gunman was arrested after allegedly firing shots into a Lehigh Valley restaurant over the weekend, authorities said. Easton resident Noah Johnson, 24, is accused of firing a gun into Big Woody's Sports Bar and Grill on Sullivan Trail in Forks Township around 2 a.m. Saturday, WFMZ reports citing local police.
