Pedestrian, 77, Killed Crossing Easton Street An Easton man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a city street on Thursday, June 15.  Saifeddin Alrefai, 77, of the West Ward, was walking across Larry Holmes Drive when he was hit, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office in a release.  Alrefai was rushed to the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus where he was pronounced dead, officials said. His death has been ruled accidental by cause of multiple blunt force injuries, Lysek added.  No charges were announced in connection with the crash.

Troopers Investigate Early-Morning Gun Shop Burglary In Northampton County State police are searching for answers after an Easton-area sporting goods store was broken into and robbed of multiple firearms, according to a release.  Troopers say 507 Outfitters, 1000 Belmont Street in Williams Township, was burglarized around 2 or 3 a.m. on Friday, April 28.  An unknown number of guns were taken, though police did not describe the missing merchandise.  The matter remains under investigation by troopers at the Belfast Station, the release adds.

Woman Wanted For Theft, Easton Police Say Police in the city of Easton are searching for a 21-year-old woman on an active arrest warrant, the department has announced.  Haileyann Koskey Crawford is wanted in connection with a theft from an Easton resident that occurred last September, said city police.
