'Let It Burn Satan' PA Woman Yelled During Arson House Fire: Affidavit
Bizarre details about an arson were shared by police in court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Oct. 18. Leslie G. Truitt, the 100 block of East Chestnut of Ephrata, is accused of "placing belongings of a former resident in her bathtub and setting them on fire," the police stated in the release and Daily Voice reported. The 70-year-old woman has been charged with arson and cruelty to animals. Foster Homes Needed For 30 Animals Seized From Berks County Home
Rescue officials are desperate for help after 30 animals were seized from a home in Berks County. The Department of Animal Protection from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was performing a wellness check when they removed 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes, and two geckos were removed from a home in Womelsdorf on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Thirty birds, four dogs, one bull, and one pony were removed from a school bus and trailer in Adams County over the weekend, according to the SPCA. Eastern Adams Regional police called SPCA members to Hanover Street and Red Hill Road on Saturday night, the organization said in a release. Two men have been arrested after they threatened to kill people over dogs, in two separate incidents in central Pennsylvania, police say. The first incident happened Jacob W. Two masked home invaders shot a man and his dogs in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, according to the police. The masked suspects broke into the home located on 3rd Avenue in Palm City, Lebanon County on Feb. 16 around 8 a.m., the release shows.
