HazMat Incident At York County Business (Developing) A HazMat crew has been called to a business on Tuesday, Oct. 15, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services.  The incident happened at Guardian CSC located at 6000 Susquehanna Plaza Drive in Hellam Township around 9:20 a.m.  There are no reports of anyone being taken to the hospital at this time.  This is a developing situation and we've reached out to officials for more details, so check back here for updates.

Chemical Spill Evacuates PA Hotel Pool: Authorities A Hazmat crew was called to a hotel in Central Pennsylvania, leading to an evacuation on Sunday, authorities said. An employee was hospitalized following the chemical spill at The Sleep Inn and Suites in Mountville on July 16, 2023.  Hazmat 2 and Mountville Fire Company No. 1 were called to the incident at  310 Primrose Lane around 1:21 p.m.  "An acid used for pH balancing the pool," caused the incident after it spilled in the utility room, officials said. All Clear: Philly Water Safe To Drink And Unimpacted By Spill, Mayor Says Four days after a chemical spill into the Delaware River in Bucks County, municipal officials in Philadelphia say the city's tap water was unaffected.  Philly's tap water remains safe to drink and use, said Mayor Jim Kenney in an address late on Tuesday, March 28.
