Suicidal NJ Man Crashes, BMW Catches Fire After Police Chase On Route 22: PA State Troopers A suicidal man crashed his vehicle and was ejected after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a chase along Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, authorities announced. Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Fogelsville Crime Unit were alerted to a suicidal male traveling into Pennsylvania from New Jersey on Monday, Dec. 16, at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to a release. Lehigh Valley Apartment Fire Under Investigation, Officials Say One resident was displaced in a single-unit apartment fire in Salisbury Township late on Sunday, April 2, authorities announced.  It happened on the 1600 block of 33rd Street Southwest just before 7 p.m., said township police in a statement. Officers and firefighters with the Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company were called to the complex for an oven fire, the department said.  On arrival, first responders noted heavy smoke and fire coming from inside the building, the release says. Residents were evacuated as firefighters knocked down the flames in about 30 minutes, officials wrote.  …
