Five Students Injured In Chesco School Bus Crash: Police
Authorities in Chester County are investigating after a school bus crash injured five students, officials say. It happened in Caln Township on Tuesday, March 14, said township police in a statement. The bus was near the corner of Foundry Street and Brooks Lane in Carver Court when it struck a "Flagger Force trailer and vehicle that was legally parked and unattended" at about 3:40 p.m., the department said. Man Struck, Killed By Minivan While Walking Through Food Store Parking Lot In ChesCo: PD
A 76-year-old man was struck and killed by a minivan in the parking lot of a grocery store in Chester County, authorities said. Nicholas Busillo was walking through the Giant Food store parking lot on Lincoln Highway in Thorndale when the 66-year-old Dodge Caravan driver hit him around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, according to Caln Township police. The Coatesville man was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Alert Issued For Missing Caln Township Teen Girl
Police in Chester County are seeking the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl. Julia Sanchez, 17, was last seen in Caln Township on Thursday, Feb. 17, local police said. She was believed to be wearing blue jeans and a red hooded sweatshirt, police said. She stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. Masked Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At Turkey Hill In Caln
Caln Township police are seeking the public’s help identifying a masked suspect in a Turkey Hill armed robbery. The suspect — pictured above — was seen entering the store at 549 Bondsville Road and confronting an employee on Tuesday, Feb. 8 around 1:50 a.m., Caln Township police said. The suspect demanded cash from the register while brandishing a large knife, then fled westbound on Humpton Road on a dark-colored bicycle, according to police. Witnesses Sought In Sex Assault Of 2 Women Along Chester County Trail
Police are seeking witnesses after two women were sexually assaulted along a trail in Chester County last month, authorities said. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Wallace Avenue around 3 p.m on July 28 for a reported sex assault in progress, according to the Caln Township Police Department. A juvenile was taken into custody and was charged with assaulting the two adult females on the embankment of the Brandywine Creek, adjacent to the Struble Trail, police said. A Chester County man was sentenced to five and a half to 12 years behind bars for reportedly killing a 47-year-old man while driving drunk on Route 30 in 2019, authorities said. When an Exton bar refused to serve any more alcohol to Charles Gorman, 30, of Coatesville, he drove to a Planet Fitness in Downingtown and got into an argument with someone in the parking lot on Oct. 23, 2019, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
