Bicyclist Struck In Lititz, Police Say A bicyclist was struck in Lititz on Tuesday, Aug. 20, the police announced at 2:56 p.m. that day.  The police were called to investigate the crash "involving a bicycle and a vehicle" around 11:21 a.m., as detailed in the release.  They learned a "bicyclist turned left at the intersection into the path of a vehicle traveling westbound resulting in a collision," police wrote in the release.  The crash happened at the intersection of East Sixth Street and Laurel Avenue in Lititz Borough.  No injuries were reported. There was also no word of any charges filed.

Hit-Run Badly Injures Bicyclist In Palmer Township: Police A driver fled the scene of an accident that left a bicyclist with serious injuries, said Palmer police. The victim was struck on South Greenwood Avenue below Charlotte Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, July 16, according to authorities. Car Sought For Hit-Run Of Allentown Bicyclist: Authorities Allentown police are looking for the suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run on Sunday, April 14.  The pictured car struck a bicyclist around 11:30 p.m. at the corner of Tilghman and 11th streets, authorities said.  Investigators believe the car now has front-end damage.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Traffic Safety Unit at 610-437-7732.

Police Car Kills Bicyclist In Chester County: Authorities A bicyclist was struck and killed by a West Goshen Township police vehicle while out for a ride Sunday, Feb. 19, authorities said. The northbound cyclist was struck by the northbound police car while on South High Street near the Route 202 overpass around 10:15 a.m., local police said. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Further details were not immediately released.

Child Riding Bike Crashes Into Ambulance In Montgomery County, Police Say A child riding a bike was injured after crashing into an ambulance in Montgomery County on Friday, March 18, authorities confirmed. An ambulance heading to a 911 call said the 12-year-old bicyclist "entered the road unsafely," and struck the passenger side of the vehicle in the 4000 block of West Skippack Pike in Skippack Township around 3:30 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. The boy -- who was not wearing a helmet -- was taken by a nearby EMS company to a local hospital for treatment of suspected broken bones and head trauma, police said.
