Barricaded Suspect Found Hiding In Closet After 9-Hour Standoff: Bethlehem PD
Bethlehem police arrested a wanted man following a nine-hour barricade at an 11th Avenue home on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Brian George Lichtenwalner, 31, was taken into custody on multiple bench warrants out of Monroe County, authorities said. Lichtenwalner had been sought on charges related to disarming a law enforcement officer, possessing drugs in a prison, and various DUI offenses when Bethlehem police learned he was in the city on Wednesday morning. Warrant Arrest, Turned Standoff Ends: PA State Police
A four-hour barricade ends with a man in state police custody, according to authorities. Lehigh County Sheriff's deputies were called to "serve a domestic relations warrant" on a resident of the 2500 block of Waynesborough Court, Lower Macungie Township, around 10:15 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, troopers said in a release. : Drunken Man Barricades Himself In Philadelphia Basement With Gun (

A drunken man armed with a shotgun barricaded himself in the basement of a home brought a large police presence to the scene in Philadelphia Sunday, June 4. The man reportedly threatened an elderly woman around 4 p.m. on the 15100 block of Milford Street and then refused to come outside, city police said. A barricade was declared just after 4:05 p.m. after the victim was able to escape. The scene was active as of 4:40 p.m.

PA Trooper Killed Dad In Murder-Suicide, Authorities Say
A man shot and killed his father with a crossbow before taking his own life on Wednesday, according to Northwest Regional Police. Wesley Frey Jr., 31, shot his father Wesley Frey Sr., 61, in the chest with a crossbow around at a home on the 1200 block of Wissler Lane around 9 p.m. A family member witnessed who shooting, fled from the scene and contacted police. When police arrived, Frey Jr. had barricaded himself in a bedroom on the second floor.
