Fourth Suspect Arrested For Attack On Off-Duty Cop In Philadelphia
Arthur Jones was arrested by US Marshals in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 28. Jones, 38, was wanted in connection with the assault and robbery of PPD Officer Eric Rodriguez on May 12. Marshals said he was hiding in a hotel when law enforcement tracked him down around 11:30 a.m. He surrendered without incident, authorities said. Victims Held At Gunpoint During Coatesville Home Invasion: Police
Two people were beaten and threatened with a gun when a burglar broke into their Coatesville home early morning on Tuesday, May 21, according to city police. Authorities said 40-year-old George Parks forced his way inside a house on the 700 block of East Chesnut Street around 3:30 a.m. One of the homeowners confronted him and they "fought for several minutes" before Parks overpowered the victim and held a gun to their head, police said. Several men are sought for questioning in connection with the assault and robbery of an off-duty Philadelphia police officer, according to authorities. The officer's personal gun was stolen in an attack on the 2100 block of West Oxford Street on Sunday morning, May 12, police said previously. Girl 'Dragged Across Street By Her Neck' In Spring City, Police Say
A Phoenixville man is charged with strangulation and assault in Spring City, police said in a release. Authorities said Jonathan Schierenback "dragged" a juvenile victim "across the street by her neck" near the 2 East Bridge Street Turkey Hill on May 8. Multiple witnesses tried to break them up, according to authorities. Police said the victim "did have visible physical injuries and the event caused the juvenile to not be able to breathe." Schierenback was released after posting a $500 bail, court records show.

87-Year-Old Punched In Head In Center City, Philadelphia Police Say
City police are looking for a suspect in the assault of an 87-year-old man in Philadelphia. Authorities said the victim was trying to enter a building on the 1000 block of Arch Street in Center City around 3 p.m. on April 24. When he asked the suspect to move out of his way, police said the suspect punched him. Investigators said the suspect may be in his teens and was wearing a dark New Balance T-shirt with dark pants and gray sneakers. Suspect Punched Victim In Face, Fled The Scene In Allentown: Police
State troopers are looking for a suspect in an Allentown assault. Authorities said the pictured man walked by the victim, punched him one time in the face, and walked away. It happened near the Sherwin Williams at 1900 Catasauqua Road on April 27, state police said. The suspect was wearing black pants and a green sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and back.
