Pennsylvania's acting Health Secretary Alison Beam will step down at the end of the year, according to a release by Gov. Tom Wolf's administration. PA Lifting COVID Orders Memorial Day Weekend, Masks Required Until 70% Of State Is Vaccinated
Normalcy is returning in Pennsylvania where officials announced COVID-19 mitigation efforts will be lifted Memorial Day Weekend. Capacity limits on restaurants, bars, indoor and outdoor gatherings will be lifted on May 31, Governor Tom Wolf's administration said Tuesday. The public mask mandate will be lifted when 70 percent of the population -- including those 18 and older -- are vaccinated. COVID Vaccine Eligibility In Pennsylvania Expands To 16 And Older In April
Authorities on Wednesday announced that Pennsylvanians 16 and older will be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine towards the end of April. The state is speeding up its inoculation efforts by expanding the rollout in phases. The state’s 1B group will be eligible April 5, the 1C group will be eligible April 12, while people 16 or older will be able to get vaccinated starting April 19, according to the Department of Health.
