Philadelphia Man Arrested In 7-Eleven Armed Robbery, South Jersey Police Say
A 44-year-old man from Philadelphia man has been arrested in connection with a hold-up at a South Jersey 7-Eleven, authorities said.
John Grubbs was charged by Evesham police with first-degree robbery, aggravated assault, theft and several weapons offenses, police said.
On Nov. 2, 2020, at 5:15 a.m., Evesham police responded to the 7-Eleven at 2 East Main St., for an armed robbery.
A man demanded money from the store's clerk while brandishing a handgun, police said. The employee complied and gave the suspect cash in the register, they said.

An ex-con was arrested and loaded, stolen handgun recovered in two armed robberies in Philadelphia and Montgomery County Thanksgiving Day, police said.
Ryan Boothe, 36, of Philadelphia, matched a description of the actor given to Cheltenham police arriving on scene of the incident at Rite Aid on Cheltenham Avenue around 6:10 p.m. Nov. 25, local police said.

Two winning Pennsylvania lottery tickets worth $128,000 and $550,000 were sold in Philadelphia.
The winning Treasure Hunt ticket from the Saturday, Oct. 23 drawing was sold at 7-Eleven on West Passyunk Avenue.
The ticket matched all five balls drawn, 5-8-12-21-25, to win $128,000.
The 7-Eleven will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
A winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket from the Tuesday, Oct. 26 drawing matched all five balls drawn, 4-5-15-21-41, to win $550,000.
