3-Year-Old Boy Shot In Face Placed In Critical Condition: Philly PD
Authorities are investigating after a 3-year-old boy was brought to a Philadelphia fire station with a gunshot wound to the cheek Sunday evening. Police were called to the 31st Street and Grays Ferry Avenue station around 5 p.m. on April 30, the department told Daily Voice. The child was rushed by ambulance to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was placed in "critical but stable condition," they said. A 21-year-old mother-to-be unexpectedly went into labor only to have her newborn die due to “undetermined trauma” possibly caused by a head-on crash with a driver under the influence, according to Pennsylvania state police.
