A 10th-grade student is dead and Central Dauphin School District officials have noted that his race might have been a factor. The district has identified Justin Johnson as the 16-year-old boy found suffering from cardiac arrest at his home in the 3000 block of Bianca Way in Lower Paxton Township at approximately 9:55 p.m. on April 26, 2024, as detailed by the police. Two 14-year-old boys were taken into custody after police said they lodged threats against Avong Grove Middle School. Troopers were called to the school, 257 State Road in London Grove Township, on Tuesday, April 16. The suspects were identified and arrested early Wednesday, April 17, according to authorities. An "external threat" received by Lehigh Career and Technical Institute administrators led to restrictions on campus on Tuesday, March 12, according to school officials. LCTI did not describe the threat but said state police found it "credible."
