Woman Was DUI At West Chester Checkpoint, Police Say

A 34-year-old woman was charged with DUI after being stopped at a checkpoint in West Chester last month, authorities said.

Abigail McCourt, of Downingtown, was pulled over at the checkpoint in the 600 block of E. Market Street around 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, according to the West Chester Police Department.

Officers said she seemed impaired.

McCourt was charged with DUI and released on a summons.

A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
