Nathan T. Hurd, 31, of Downingtown, was arrested Saturday, Dec. 17 in Montgomery County, police said in a statement.

Authorities believe Hurd sold drugs to a 33-year-old Westtown resident who overdosed and died in August. Investigators did not name the victim or the drug in question.

Hurd is now charged with drug delivery resulting in death and other related felonies, Westtown-East Goshen police said. He remains in the Chester County lockup in lieu of $500,000 bail, according to state court records.
