Car Crash Shutters Route 1 In Chester County: Officials (Developing)

A car wreck shut down a portion of Route 1 in East Marlborough Township on Tuesday afternoon, officials told Daily Voice.

The northbound lanes of the Route 1 bypass near the Route 82/Unionville Road overpass were briefly closed on Nov. 21, Chester County authorities said.

The roadway was reopened by 4 p.m., they added.

It was not immediately clear by Tuesday night if anyone was hurt.
