Suicidal NJ Man Crashes, BMW Catches Fire After Police Chase On Route 22: PA State Troopers
A suicidal man crashed his vehicle and was ejected after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a chase along Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, authorities announced. Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Fogelsville Crime Unit were alerted to a suicidal male traveling into Pennsylvania from New Jersey on Monday, Dec. 16, at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to a release. A former Neshaminy Kids Club worker was sentenced to 35 to 88 years in state prison for sexually assaulting seven boys and filming some of the abuse, Bucks County authorities announced on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. Gerald William Spoto, 42, of Disk Lane in Bristol Township, pleaded guilty in July to nearly three dozen charges for crimes committed between the late 1990s and 2023. Graphic body camera footage showing police shooting a Reading father of six dead has been released, and it appears to contradict the DA and police statements. The family of 50-year-old Damon Scott Stern Sr., also known as DJ Nomad, along with their attorney held a press conference on Thursday, Sept. 19.
