Pursuit Of Teen In Stolen Car Ends With Fiery Crash: Reading Police
A juvenile who led police on a chase in a stolen car has been charged, Reading Police announced on Monday, June 24. Officers spotted the vehicle near North 3rd and Washington streets around 1:30 a.m. When they tried to pull it over, the 15-year-old driver fled into Muhlenberg Township where he lost control and crashed, according to officials. The car caught fire before police removed the driver from the vehicle, RPD said. Bethlehem Shooting Sends Victim To Hospital In Critical Condition: Police
City police are investigating a shooting in Bethlehem early Sunday morning, June 23. Authorities said they were called to the 1300 block of Fritz Drive just after 4 a.m. Officers arrived to find an adult man with a gunshot wound to the body and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, BPD said. His condition has since stabilized. No arrests had been made as of Monday, June 24. Hit-Run Motorcyclist Sought By Police In West Reading
Have you seen this man? The motorcyclist pictured below fled the scene of an accident, police in West Reading announced on Sunday. The hit-and-run crash happened at Delaney Traffic Circle near the exit to Buttonwood Street on June 23, as detailed in the police release. He did not stop to provide his name and insurance information, according to investigators — they also noted that his motorcycle did not appear to have a license plate. Arrest Made In Shooting That Left Philadelphia Officer Critical
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in a shooting that left a Philadelphia police officer in critical condition. Ramon Rodriguez Vazquez has been charged with attempted murder, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and more. According to 6abc, the officer and his partner were conducting a traffic stop on the 3500 block of F Street in Kensington when Vazquez fired three shots while fleeing from the scene around 8 p.m. He was also charged with tampering of evidence, obstruction, giving a false ID to police, and more.

Two Teens Caught In Stolen Car, Allentown Police Say
Two juvenile suspects were arrested after police said they were found in a stolen vehicle early Monday, June 17. Authorities said they were called about a stolen car on the 600 block of Chew Street around 1:40 a.m. While officers were taking the report, the car was spotted near North 7th Street entering the city. The vehicle was pulled over and both juveniles were taken into custody, APD said. They are charged with fleeing and eluding, theft, receiving stolen property, evading arrest on foot, and traffic offenses, authorities said.

Two men stole jewelry from a South Philadelphia home last week after one of them claimed he needed to inspect the back deck, city police said.
