Armed Man Killed By Police In Montgomery County, DA Says A 68-year-old armed man was shot and killed by police in Montgomery County on Sunday morning, Oct. 27, authorities said. Upper Moreland police were called to a home at the Commerce Square Apartments in Willow Grove for a domestic disturbance where an 83-year-old resident let them inside around 11:50 a.m., MontCo District Attorney Kevin Steele said. Inside, the 68-year-old man ignored officers' commands to drop the handgun and began to raise the firearm up, at which point he was shot and killed by officers, Steele said.
