A 77-year-old woman died after being rescued from the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County on Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to police. Officers and firefighters responded to a 911 call about a car in the water at 601 Righter's Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd at 9:08 a.m., the Lower Merion Township Police Department told Daily Voice. Fire At Popular Bucks County Restaurant Destroys 10 Businesses: 'Devastating'
A fire at a popular Bucks County restaurant and bar damaged approximately nine other businesses in the strip mall. Flames erupted at Andalusia Bar and Grill at 971 Bristol Pike in Grandview Plaza around 4 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, Bensalem Township Fire Battalion Chief Robert Sponheimer said. Responders were met by heavy flames in the back of the building, bringing approximately 70 firefighters to the scene, Sponheimer said. Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10. The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities. Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added. UPDATE: PECO crews are on the scene repairing the issue and Steeplechase Drive is back open for through traffic, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Man Airlifted After Vehicle Crashes With Ambulance Going To Emergency In South Jersey: Police
A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an ambulance heading to an emergency in Cape May County, authorities said. Middle Township police responded to the crash on Route 9 North at around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the department said in a news release. One person died while swimming near Reading's Riverfront Park on Saturday, June 29, according to city officials. A fire at a Warminster home started when a "one-pot" methamphetamine lab exploded, according to police investigators. Township firefighters responded to the 700 block of Lillian Lane around 10:30 p.m. on May 20, police said in a release. They arrived to find smoke and a wet floor in the basement with a fire still raging inside the walls, officials said.
