Murderer From Philly Arrested For Killing In York County: Police (Update)
A convicted murderer has been arrested after two people were found dead in South Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning, Oct. 9, authorities say. Rangel Vangas, 53, most recently of York but previously of Philadelphia, was arrested on the scene of the double slaying and charged with two counts of Criminal Homicide, Springettsbury Township police detailed in a release. Vangas is a convicted murderer, according to state and federal court documents obtained by Daily Voice. The pedestrian struck dead has been identified as an assisted living resident who was walking home, the York County Coroner's Office explained on Friday, Aug. 2. Terry Zeigler, 79 of Autumn House East in the 2600 block of East Market Street, Springettsbury Township, died at WellSpan York Hospital at 9:53 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, as detailed in the coroner's release. Temple University Alumna Killed In York County Crash 1 Minute From Home
A Temple University Art Institute alumna has died following a crash on the way home from work, her family explained on social media. Libby Spangler, 35 of the 700 block of Stonewood Road, Springettsbury Township, has been identified as the driver who crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Stonewood and Trowbridge roads on Friday, according to an updated release by the York County Coroner's office on May 28.
