High-Speed Pursuit Ends But Driver Escapes: PA State Police A high-speed pursuit involving a black Acura TLX with heavily tinted windows ended abruptly when the driver escaped near Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Dec. 5. The chase began on I-78 West in Lebanon County when troopers attempted to stop the vehicle for traffic violations. Hit-Run Hospitalizes Woman In Manheim Township, Police Say A 75-year-old woman is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, Manheim Township Police announced on Monday morning, Oct. 21. The woman was found lying on the side of the road in the 100 Block River Drive in Lancaster Township at 9:08 a.m.  She was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.  "A witness heard the impact and then saw a dark-colored sedan flee southbound," the police wrote in the release. The police were notified of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 400 block of Park Avenue/PA Route 743 at 9:41 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 6, as detailed in the release. New Jersey State Police Marine Units stopped the operator of an erratic blue Yamaha around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the bathing beach in Lower Township in Cape May County, the department said.
