A man is accused of stealing more than $100,000 from his disabled former stepson after the teen's mother died, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Tuesday, June 2.
Christopher O. Johnson, 38, of Montgomery County, was charged after an Office of Attorney General investigation found he allegedly took life insurance payouts belonging to his former stepson, according to the release.
Investigators say Johnson stole more than $100,000 over a three-month period following the victim's mother's death from a stroke in 2025.

A workplace accident turned fatal after a worker fell from scaffolding at a job site in Pennsylvania, authorities announced on Thursday, June 4.
The victim, a 47-year-old Kutztown Borough resident, was seriously injured when he fell from scaffolding while working at a site in Shillington Borough at 9:47 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, according to Berks County Coroner Matthew J. Stitzel.
