Punched Federal Corrections Officer At PA Prison Lands Kentucky Drug Trafficker Extra 41 Months A Kentucky drug trafficker serving time in Pennsylvania has been sentenced to an additional 41 months in prison for punching a corrections officer at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Allenwood, federal officials announced on Monday, Dec. 23. Demetrius Catching, 34, formerly of Nicholasville, Kentucky, attacked the officer in 2016 while serving a 60-month sentence for distributing crack cocaine. Matthew Monroe, 38, was arrested on Friday, Aug. 16, the Wildwood Crest Police Department said in a news release. An officer stopped Monroe in a vehicle near the intersection of Atlantic and Denver avenues at around 3:10 a.m. Investigators said the officer suspected the vehicle had evidence of criminal activity and a K9 officer sniffed the outside of the vehicle.
